Dropboards
Dropboards é uma marca de veículos radicais sediada em São Paulo - Brasil. Fui chamado para reformular sua identidade visual e redução da marca para DROP. O primeiro produto de comercialização da empresa foi o Carveboard, um skate urbano que simula as "cavadas" do surf. O ícone remete a primeira e última letra da marca D e P e ao movimento do skate, Zig-Zag para esquerda (D) e para direita (P) no formato de flechas. A tipografia da marca por sua vez foi construída com formas orgânicas que remetem ao corte lateral de uma onda.
Dropboards is a brand of radical vehicles based in São Paulo - Brazil. I was hired to redesign its visual identity and reduce the brand to DROP. The company's first commercialization product was Carveboard, an urban skateboard that simulates the "Botton Turn" of surfing. The icon refers to the first and last letter of the brand D and P and the movement of the skateboard, Zig-Zag left (D) and right (P) in the shape of arrows. The brand's typography, in turn, was built with organic shapes that refer to the side cut of a wave.
