SOCIAL DISTANCING
I attempted this piece late in March 2020 to express the most calming yet unsettling montage of a year that was yet to be experienced. It took me a while to disconnect from all the worrying that the pandemic brought and channel my energies in realizing the opportunity to pause, observe and absorb. And as soon as I pondered the stillness, I could eventually embody it. As the world was adapting to this abrupt change, I was mesmerized by this emergency to pause. So, I tried to capture a routine of visiting the skyline at night and watch as everyone surrender to the order of nature.
