Nippon Connection Filmfestival
With 16,000 visitors the Japanese film festival Nippon Connection is the largest festival of its kind in Europe. It presents current cinema and digital productions and gives visitors an in-depth look at Japanese culture through lectures, workshops, parties, and concerts. The diversity of Japan is illustrated by pictograms which represent both, traditional and modern Japanese culture as basic elements of graphic design. On a second level, the pictograms form Japanese icons.
Mit 16.000 Besuchern und 200 Veranstaltungen ist die Nippon Connection das größte Festival dieser Art in Europa. Konzeption und Realisierung des gesamten Kommunikationsdesigns im Team. Die Vielfältigkeit Japans wird durch Piktogramme dargestellt, die stellvertretend für die traditionelle und moderne Kultur die Basis der grafischen Gestaltung bilden. Auf einer zweiten Ebene formieren sich aus den Piktogrammen japanische Ikonen.
