The New Experience, Luggage + Stove

2021.

Existing gas rotary heater (stove) found the problem of low mobility and solved it by combining it with a Luggage. The minimal design aimed at the sensibilities of the MZ generation provides convenience to users, while emphasizing the beauty of form that goes well inside and outside the house.

본 디자인은 기존의 가스 로터리히터 (스토브)가 이동성이 떨어진다는 문제점을 발견하여 캐리어와 결합하는 방법으로 해결한 제품이다. 또한, MZ세대의 감성을 겨냥한 미니멀한 디자인으로 사용자에게 편의를 제공하면서, 집 안과 밖에서 잘 어울러지는 조형미를 강조하였다.

MZ generation to the outdoors

In the aftermath of COVID-19, more and more people are enjoying personal activities where they rarely meet people, and in line with the characteristics of the MZ generation that values experience and emotion, TPO (Time, Place, Occasion) and style for each activity We propose customized products considering HOVE will establish itself as a camping essential for the MZ generation, who value experience and sensibility, as it has functionality as well as aesthetic elements such as modern design, calm colors, and minimal logo exposure.

COVID-19의 여파로 사람을 만나는 일이 적은 개인적인 활동을 즐기는 사람이 점점 많아지는 가운데, 경험과 감성을 중시하는 MZ세대 특성에 맞춰 활동별 TPO(시간 Time, 장소 Place, 상황 Occasion)와 스타일까지 고려한 맞춤 제품을 제안한다. HOVE는 기능성은 물론 모던한 디자인, 차분한 컬러, 로고 노출 최소화 등 심미적 요소까지 두루 갖춰 경험과 감성을 중시하는 MZ세대의 캠핑 필수품으로 자리잡을 것이다.

Move warmth easily, when it's cold

Warmth isn't just for camping. Wherever there is cold, there is a need for warmth for us. Since HOVE includes a handle and wheels, you can easily move the rotary heater like a luggage. Users may also need a warm drink in the outdoors. Therefore, it is possible to present a warm liquid heated through the heat emitted to the user.

따뜻함은 캠핑에서만 필요한 부분이 아니다. 추운 곳이면 어디든, 우리에겐 따뜻함이 필요하다. 핸들과 바퀴를 포함하는 HOVE는 캐리어처럼 따뜻함을 쉽게 이동시킬 수 있다. 또한, 아웃도어에서 따뜻한 마실 것이 필요하기도 하다. 그래서, 방출되는 열기를 통해 데워진 따뜻한 마실 것을 사용자에게 제공할 수 있도록 하였다.

By proposing an additional space on the straight upper surface, we tried to provide a more user experience.

직선 형으로 이뤄진 윗면에 부가적인 공간을 제안하여 사용자에게 더 많은 경험을 제공하고자 하였다.

즉, 열을 이용한 다양한 이점을 경험할 수 있다.

Basic form detail

Where the product generates heat, the shape of the existing product was taken into consideration. We wanted the user to recall a familiar experience about whether it is working properly and what the current state is.

제품이 발열하는 곳의 디자인은 기존 제품의 형상을 착안하였다. 제대로 작동이 되고 있는지, 현재 상태는 어떤지에 대하여 사용자가 익숙한 경험을 떠올리기를 바라며, 재질과 형태 및 단차의 규격을 정형화하여 제안하였다.

Lighting Experience

It helps the operating environment with simple lighting of this product rather than unnecessary use of auxiliary products in the
situation where the user operates the product.

사용자가 제품을 조작하는 상황에서 보조 제품의 불필요한 사용이 아닌, 본 제품의 간단한 라이팅으로 조작 환경에 도움을 준다.

Hidden for minimalize

One of the parts that hinders the aesthetics of using the product is the unorganized tone difference. When the handle part of the product is not in use, it is prevented from protruding from the side, and the tone difference is eliminated to suggest a minimalist mood.

제품을 사용함에 있어서 조형미를 방해하는 부분 중 하나가 정리되지 않은 톤 차이이다. 제품의 손잡이 부분을 사용하지 않을 때, 옆면에서 돌출되지 않도록 하였으며 톤 차이를 없애서 미니멀한 분위기를 연출할 수 있도록 제안하였다.

Environmental shape

This product is mostly used in a cold environment or an environment that requires heat. This means that the situation of
outdoor use should also be considered. It is designed to be easily fixed in case the outdoor floor surface is uneven or snow
accumulates.

본 제품은 추운 환경이나 열이 필요한 환경에서 사용되는 일이 대부분이다. 이는, 아웃도어에서 사용하는 상황도 고려를 해야한다는 의미이다.
아웃도어라는 상황에서의 바닥 면이 고르지 않거나, 눈이 쌓이는 경우를 대비하여 고정이 쉬운 하단부 형상을 설계하였다.
