Some years ago a friend of mine asked me to take photos of the costumes she'd made for a play. They were inspired from traditional Bulgarian folk wear. We shot on the stage with the lights set as it is in the play. I noticed the strange shadows growing behind my objects. These photographs are fragments taken from the originals.
