The poetry of Joseph Brodsky occupies a special place in modern literature and in my heart. No wonder, this is the rare case when a predominantly Russian-speaking poet received a worldwide vocation.
Illustrating this collection, I wanted to immerse the reader in the world of this great writer, with the help of composition, color and visual images.
Combinations of black, gray and red colors emphasize Brodsky's drama and avant-garde.
Black and white photographs, paper texture, as well as a font imitating a typewriter help to plunge into the era of Russian poetry of the 20th century.
The compositional solution with a red line running through the pages smoothly leads the reader from illustration to the most important thing - a poem.
Brodsky's poetry is filled with images that require philosophical reflection, so the red line does not just participate in the compositional solution of the book, it also plays the role of a "guide", following it, the reader goes through all the poet's work from his earliest poems to the latest works.

If you see any mistakes in the text, sorry) I speak English badly.
