Future Tree

This work is based on the development of a tree where the goal is to create an artificial replacement for the natural trees, knowing that in the future they will cease to exist. The idea for this work comes from the observation of the object in question, and the benefits it gives us, knowing that it converts carbon dioxide into oxygen is essential for the existence of life on earth, serves as shelter to people and habitat to animals providing fruit, wood, among others. The form of the "future tree" came from the observation of the birth of a plant, its shape and appearance. If in the future, the trees no longer exist, we need to revive this precious asset , this true masterpiece of nature to transmit to future generations the look and functions of trees.

The tree of the future will have the following functions :
 Hologram;
 Photosynthesis;
 Collection of solar energy;
 Collection of rainwater;
 Habitat for birds.

These trees may be contructed in any environment, being in this specific case designed for our country , since this structure is more suitable for birds, such as: Barn Swallow - chimneys , Blackbird , Blue Tit , Great Tit , Tentilhão-comum, House Sparrow , Greenfinch Decoy

Árvore do Futuro

O trabalho realizado assenta sobre o desenvolvimento de uma árvore onde o objetivo é criar algo artificial para a substituição desta, sabendo que no futuro as mesmas deixarão de existir. O conceito neste trabalho resulta da observação do objeto em causa, e dos benefícios que esta nos dá, sabendo que a mesma converte o dióxido de carbono em oxigénio essencial para a existência da vida na terra, serve de abrigo a pessoas e de habitat a animais, fornecendo frutos, madeira, entre outros. A inspiração para este conceito surgiu da observação do nascimento de uma planta, da sua forma e aparência. Se no futuro, as árvores deixarem de existir, temos a necessidade de fazer renascer este bem tão precioso, esta verdadeira obra de arte da natureza para transmitir às gerações futuras qual o aspeto e funções da verdadeira já que não
as irão conhecer.
Para o efeito a árvore do futuro terá as seguintes funções:
 Holograma;
 Fotossíntese;
 Recolha de energia solar;
 Recolha de água das chuvas
 e Habitat para pássaros.

Estas árvores poderão ser inseridas em qualquer meio ambiente, estando neste caso projetadas para o nosso país, visto que esta estrutura será mais adequada para pássaros comuns, que no nosso caso são: Andorinha-das-chaminés, Melro-preto, Chapim-azul, Chapim-real, Tentilhãocomum Pardal-comum, Chamariz Verdilhão.

In order to make something artificial like this based and more similat to something so natural like a tree, I used holograms projecting on the physical structure of the object a real tree. One of its main features is that it can be modified visually, the hologram tree can be changed depending on the season (winter, autumn, summer and spring).
Photosynthesis: The natural tree does photosynthesis and using this function is so important and vital to the planet in the future. This project can also make a artificial photosynthesis, not using the sun as it happens with a real plant, but using technology and mechanical systems that transforms the carbon dioxide into oxygen and thus renewing the air.

Projetar em algo artificial o que o verdadeiro nos dá... Dai o uso de hologramas projetado na estrutura física do objeto (árvore). É visível a modificação da árvore consoante a estação do ano (inverno, outono, verão e
primavera).É difícil no entanto modificar a forma de uma coisa tão bela que nos é dada pela natureza, por algo artificial.
Fotossíntese: A árvore natural faz a fotossíntese e também se pretende utilizar esta função tão importante e vital para o planeta na do futuro. Este projeto consegue também fazer uma espécie de fotossíntese artificial, visto não utilizar o sol como acontece com uma planta verdadeira, Desta forma e especulando no futuro, este processo será feito através de um sistema mecânico, que transforma o dióxido de carbono em oxigénio e assim renovando o ar.

Recolha de água: A forma côncava das suas folhas e a sua moderada inclinação, dá origem à recolha de água quando chove, escoando através de uma conduta central, que terá um filtro para evitar que a sujidade possa entrar para o reservatório de armazenamento. Posteriormente essa água, terá como utilização principal a rega e sendo em excesso, poderá entrar para um sistema de tratamento de águas e mais tarde entrar na rede pública.

Collect energy: Energy collection is made using a photovoltaic panel adaptable to a leaf, and this transforms solar energy into electrical energy. Supposedly, in the future, small photovoltaic panels will collect as much energy as a large panel currently used and to be more malleable organic forms. In this case, the electricity produced will serve as a night light as the current streetlights are being designed under two larger sheets.

Recolha de energia: Esta recolha é feita através de um painel fotovoltaico adaptável a uma das folhas, sendo que este transforma a energia solar em energia elétrica. Supostamente, no futuro, os painéis fotovoltaicos pequenos irão recolher tanta energia como um painel grande utilizado atualmente e serão mais maleáveis a formas orgânicas. Neste caso, a eletricidade produzida servirá de iluminação noturna tal como os atuais candeeiros públicos sendo projetada por baixo das duas folhas maiores.

Habitat: As the tree a habitat and shelter for animals and people, respectively, there is a space with a circular driveway, intended for birds, where they can build their nest. They will be protected and sheltered from both the sun and rain, helping to preserve the species.

Habitat: Sendo a árvore um habitat e um abrigo para animais e pessoas, respetivamente, existe um espaço com uma entrada circular, destinado a pássaros, onde estes poderão construir o seu ninho. Desta forma estarão protegidos e abrigados, tanto do sol como da chuva, ajudando na preservação das espécies.
