Hace unos meses tuve la oportunidad de participar en el proyecto "Tol y Ache" de Yeye Colectivo. Se trata de una guía turística de la ciudad de Toluca presentada en forma del tradicional juego mexicano de lotería, con ilustraciones de varios lugares coquetos hechos por ilustradores locales. A mi me tocó "Lusso Café", un hermoso cafecito en el centro de la ciudad. Fui al lugar, tomé algunas fotos para tomar inspiración y ahí mismo empecé a bocetar mientras disfrutaba una rica comida. Aquí muestro parte del proceso.

A while back I was given the opportunity to take part in a very interesting project. "Yeye Colectivo" wanted to make a tourist guide of my home town but with a twist, showcasing illustrations of the local cafes and places worth visiting in Toluca, México in the form of traditional mexican lottery game. I illustrated "Lusso Cafe", a beatiful, classy coffee place located in the heart of the city. I visited the venue, took some pictures and started sketching while enjoying a delicious meal. Here you can see part of the process and the final result.
