The concept and idea of the project:
This corporate iden
tity and logo were created as a re-branding concept for the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The project was created on the basis of comparing the art of the past and modern. The modern art of most authors translates the ideas of the masters of the past, performing their works in a modern and more stable form. The art of the past is beautiful, but modern art also has dignity: it is based on the artist's individuality, the desire to express his ideas about life, society, the image of nature, portraits, genre paintings in which the author expresses his aesthetic ideals. To create modern art, you do not need professional experience and expensive materials, the whole basis lies in a variety of forms, materials and directions. Previously, artists had only canvases, paints and marble at hand, but today we see that works can be created from wood or metal. There were many different schools and trends in classical art, but the number of classical trends is still inferior to modernity.
Previously, artists became masters only after graduating from art academies, but today everyone can become an artist. And it does not matter whether you have graduated from any educational institution or not, today your talent and ability to surprise the audience is important. It doesn't matter what kind of art you prefer – the main thing is that it evokes emotions, and these emotions can be completely different. And if you don't want to watch the art of modern artists, you can always visit the museum and enjoy the classics. The choice is yours.
