An open assignment for class that turned into designing a potential capsule collection for the SS2014 season. Inspiration came from Frank Lloyd Wright's windows and my love for the abstract. Kept everything light and spring/summery. If i had unlimited resources I'd actually make these lol.
Menswear - Focused on masculine shapes and lines.
Zip-up asymmetrical jacket.
Light blue summer sportcoat with "stained glass" lapels.
Light sweater in camel.
Daywear - Easy to wear and totally transitional from day to night if need be.
Light blue polo with more stained glass inspired paneling.
"Red Iris" button-down shirt.
Mondrian inspired V-neck T-shirt.
Womenswear - Based on wheat fields and blue skies.
Lightweight soft gradient trench with embroidered trompe-l'oeil glass panels.
Lightweight (and not sheer!) blouse with oversized cuffs so they look cute when rolled up. Lavalliere tie is detachable.
Dyed golden summer dress with with attached lace sash.
Neck Accessories - For that pop of color
Necklaces - Mixed lightweight chains & ribbon for that extra touch of femininity.
