Font Orlando

Orlando - that's a project developed during the High Professional Course in Type design of Politecnico di Milano. We divided in several teams and we began creating a new typeface based on an old not well definited font. The principal aim has been to finish the form of the old printed letters to develop a new one. My team and I chose a font (similar to bodonian) found in a very old venetian book of 1785.
Orlando is an elegant serif typeface, can be used mostly for the headline but suits good also for the texts.
