ABOUT
Sixty - is a barbershop in the style of 60s - 70s. The main task of the project was to create the space for modern men attracted to retro. The barbershop occupies an area of 77 square meters. It was decided to divide the space into 2 zones - reception combined with a large waiting and observable working zone, and invisible colorist zone and solarium. Zones are divided by sliding partitions of wood and fluted glass.
CONCEPT
First of all I'd like to convey the mood of 60s-70s years of Russia, and оnly then add some elements from the USA and Europe. Simplicity, comfort and functionalism. Natural materials and deep tones prevail, bright and clear texture fill the space. There are two big windows facing the wide street. The space could be invisible due to wooden blinds, which retract the light.
