This project was a bid for contract each year with the 5 local Convention & Visitors Bureaus/Chambers of Commerce. I was hired by The Beaumont Enterprise to serve as Project Editor. In this role, I planned the 88 page magazine, collaborated with 5 outside client organizations, hired a freelance team for writing and photography and worked closely with the graphic designers with the Creative Media Team at the Houston Chronicle. In the new 2011 issue, we used QR codes throughout the book to provide additional content.
