Branding & Identity - "Wonky"

A brand identity designed for Wonky, a hypothetical store who sell-on the rejected fruit & veg from other stores due to not meeting the strict cosmetic standards. Wonky aim to reduce food waste, as the UK's food retail sector wastes around 100,000 tonnes of good-to-eat food each year, contributing to the planet's waste issue as well as global warming.

Wonky's mission is to provide its customers with the means to help the planet by living more sustainably, delivered in an easy and accessible way. To apply this idea of making sustainability easy and accessible, my outcomes use an illustrated 'grabbing hand' asset, which appears across my logo, packaging, social media content and store signage. A mural was also designed for the store, to link the interior to the brand.
