The communications agency Agenda Design commissioned me to create the artwork for their new visitor maps for the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew and its sister garden, Wakehurst in Haywards Heath, Sussex. Both maps are for use by the public, on display on information boards at their respective gardens and available in smaller formats in pamphlets. As well as clearly showing entrances, roads, paths and the locations of all the various buildings, gardens and other key features, the maps include brand new features including the recently rebuilt Pavilion Bar and Grill at Kew, and new landscaping and footpaths at Wakehurst. Both maps took just under a year to complete.
