A complete branding exercise for a vacation booking and information website for the City of Edmonton, Alberta.

 

I created the logo which is a happy face and the word 'play'. It took some hard selling at the beginning because the client was unsure because he thought it looked too childish. Once I showed the client the logo and branding style applied to the website they loved it and ran with it. I created a character called Steve who is a website guide and spokesperson for Edmonton tourism on their site. (He was actually created by accident!) He was developed for animation, and social media marketing.
