Conceptual Branding Project
I love when a simple sketch turns into a bad ass, functional brand identity concept and that’s exactly what happened. After sketching a couple weeks ago, I saw an opportunity to build out a conceptual sports brand.
Whether I’m doing branding work for a client or fun personal exercise, i immerse myself in the brand, looking to build an identity with purpose and functionality in mind while creating something that’s pleasing to look at.
The fictional team created out of this sketch, is the “Arizona Reapers”. In the project, you'll see all the different logos included in this branding system that creates a cohesive look and feel, blending a modern sports aesthetic with the western vibe of the Arizona desert. Also in this project, I show the logos in use, mocked up on real life applications to show how they interact with the environment they are meant to live in.
