VISUAL RESEARCH PORTFOLIO
ANALYSIS OF AN ARTEFACT
Abigale Pineda
Designers use techniques of visualisation in their everyday practices, as a tool for thinking, research, communication and presentation. This short visual research portfolio uses analogue visualisation techniques to research and think through a designed artefact. The chosen artefact is a simple object, easily found in everyday life. With this cereal box, I spent a lot of time visually examining + exploring the artefact.
Across three pages, I utilised the following visualisation techniques:
3-Dimensional Rendering
Views of magnified details
Net diagrams
Use case scenario storyboards
