Eesti Laul (English: 'Estonian Song' or 'The Song of Estonia') is an annual music competition organised by Estonian public broadcaster ERR. It determines the country's representative for the Eurovision Song Contest, and has been staged every year since 2009.

Since its introduction, the competition has been one of the most popular television programmes in Estonia, it is also broadcast on radio and the Internet.

Eesti Laul 2021 selected Estonia's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2021. The competition consisted of twenty-four entries competing in two semi-finals on 18 and 20 February 2021 leading to a twelve-song final.
The final took place on 6 March 2021. The six entries that qualified from each of the two preceding semi-finals, all together twelve songs, competed during the show. The winner was selected over two rounds of voting.

In the first round, a jury (50%) and public televote (50%) determined the top three entries to proceed to the superfinal: "The Lucky One" performed by Uku Suviste, "Time" performed by Sissi and "Magus melanhoolia" performed by Jüri Pootsmann. In the superfinal, "The Lucky One" performed by Uku Suviste was selected as the winner entirely by a public televote.
In order to support their favorites in the selection, many Internet users put so-called support avatars or simply supports as an avatar of their social medias. This set of support avatars was created in February 2021 and was inspired by grunge music style and graffiti spray paint.
