Chama-se Toucinilho Português, mas podia chamar-se ‘prazer dos deuses’, ‘pecado do céu ‘ ou ‘manjar dos anjos’!
O Toucinilho Português da avó é, na verdade, um segredo da tia Alba. Uma tia espanhola sem laços de sangue que, em tempos, chegou a Viseu quando a avó ainda era uma criança. Enquanto as outras meninas se perdiam em brincadeiras de bonecas de trapos, a avó perdia-se nos recantos da cozinha, entre tachos e panelas. À avó foram revelados os segredos de quase alquimia de um ponto de açúcar mágico, que com as gemas, o caramelo e a temperatura certa do forno, se transformam no
mais extraordinário dos doces conventuais nascendo assim em 2021 o Toucinilho Português dando vida a uma receita com muitos anos.
It's called Toucinilho Português, but it could be called 'pleasure of the gods', 'sin of heaven' or 'delight of the angels'!
Grandma's Portuguese Toucinilho is, in fact, Aunt Alba's secret. A bloodless Spanish aunt who once arrived in Viseu when her grandmother was still a child. While the other girls were playing with ragdoll games, the grandmother got lost in the kitchen corners, among pots and pans. The grandmother revealed the secrets of the alchemy and magical sugar point. They are transformed into the most unique convent sweets with the yolks, caramel, and the correct oven temperature. Thus, being born in 2021, the Portuguese Toucinilho gave life to a recipe of many years.
Neste projecto, foi-me pedido para destacar a realeza do doce, mantendo um aspecto clean.
Foi então que após várias análises, decidi ir um pouco mais além e misturar o premium com algo mais fluído. Construí uma tipografia personalizada, transparecendo a vida do doce nas próprias formas das letras, fazendo referência ao topping de caramelo, onde podemos observar isso nas ondulações da letra. Incluindo também como referencia premium uma coroa por cima do próprio logo, sobressaindo e unificando assim toda a sua simbologia.
In this project, I was asked to highlight the royalty of the dessert while maintaining a clean look.
It was then that, after several studies, I decided to go a little further and mix the premium with something more fluid. I've created personalized typography, showing the life of the candy in the exact shapes of the letters, making reference to the caramel topping, where we can see it in the undulations of the letter. Also included as a premium reference is a crown above the logo itself, standing out and unifying all its symbology.

Neste padrão o objectivo é passar personalidade, mas também manter-se premium.
Utilizei então a ondulação das letras para recriar este efeito em forma de ondas, fazendo referência ao doce em si, quando regado sobre o Toucinilho. As cores foram escolhidas com inspiração no próprio doce, mas mantendo uma tonalidade mais leve.
In this pattern, the objective is to pass personality but also to remain premium.
I then used the undulation of the letters to recreate this effect in the form of waves, referring to the sweet itself when watered over the Toucinilho. Finally, the colours were chosen, inspired by the dessert itself but keeping a lighter tone.
