1. ALL CAPS - SANS SERIF - SHADOW EFFECT - BLUE
3. ALL CAPS - SANS SERIF - NO SHADOW - WHITE
4. Sentence case - sans serif - legibile - blue
What kind of typefaces are used and how do they relate to each other?
The design uses a simple selection of sans serif fonts and relies on reputation and brand recognition to factor into the design. The design is intended to be familiar to those who know what the product is and attest to its longevity
How did the designer use space & alignment to organise the text?
The used a number of font sizes to effectively split up the information and develop of a heirarchy. The use of space is effective and allows for clarity in design
What were the treatments used to differentiate text and organise information — size, scale, treatment
the design emplys bright colours and a distinct simplicity to convey the messages. THe design uses blue, red, yellow, white and black.
What are the other elements on the label?
The only other elements on the design are the small bubble graphics, the hotline graphic and the barcodes
What is your opinion about the quality of the label?
i think that the design accruately reflects the product that it is selling. The company does not rely on design or maketing gimmicks to sell the product and simply prefers to draw upon brand recognition. It would be expected that there is no reason to change the design as the target audience would not benefit from such a change.
