November 15th, 2013: My good friends at The Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation celebrate 10 years helping the familes of premature babies in Guernsey. Lots of work was required to promote the big party and to make sure it went off smoothly. It was a lot of fun being part of it all.
As the charity was founded by Triple World Touring Car Champion Andy Priaulx and his wife, the event has a racing theme running through it, alongisde the charitys existing fluffy teddybears.
It started...with an email sent out to the charitys database...

Instead of normal tickets sent out in the post, we custom printed nylon lanyards that housed the party ticket in the guise of a raceday VIP All Access Pass. These were handed out on the night to guests by Pit Crew girls who greeted guests as they arrived at the venue.
An A0 place setting board greeted guests into the main dining room.
Each group of guests came up with their own names for the tables.
On either side of the main screen - that ran standard powerpoint slides along with a custom designed Keynote presentation to thank the sponsors (see further below) - were a speakers table and podium respectively. Behind each was one of these 9ft boards to further promote the sponsors.

Alongside the charity party, the PPBF also celebrated World Prematurity Day (November 17th). We designed 6ft banners to go around the main roundabout in the town to help promote the day.
