"Character Designs Texture-Inspired". Photoshop, 17x11. We had to go around taking photos of all sorts of stains and shapes on campus. These are my chosen texture-inspired characters. The satyr became my focus for my environment.
"Kanglegraffe". Hybrid of human, kangaroo, camel, and giraffe. Open assignment.
"Family Campfire At Sunset", Photoshop, 17x11. I researched Aboriginese instruments, vessels, body paint, and Australian creatures and landscape. The rocks are actually from Kangaroo Island, Australia. The skull is an ostrich's, and the kangaroo mice have the fur of tree kangaroos.

"The Greedy Neighbor", Photoshop, 17x11. We had to illustrate an existing fairytale/folktale from our heritage. Mine is a Filipino story about Bulan, a poor mother who takes her pig to the market to sell in exchange for food. A witch persuades her into her house on stilts on the lake, making her do disgusting chores, rewarding her with food that never dies out whenever Bulan cuts out. But Bulan's greedy neighbor wants endless food supply, ignoring the witch's requests and gets turned into a pine tree.

"Bat-Beetle Hybrid" exploration, Photoshop, 17x11. Combined the Goldsmith Beetle with many kinds of bats.
"Wooden Ant-Eater". Photoshop, 17x11. Character/Shape/Silhouette Explorations.
"Tsura the Air Gypsy Turnaround", Photoshop, 8.5x11. She travels the world in a hot air balloon, trading. Gets chased by pirates when a merchant deceives her into buying a wanted treasure.

"Lovers of Music", 17x11, watercolor, micron pen, touch of Photoshop. A story for all who love music. A once-famous, hopeless band fails to use its music to inspire revolution. Their biggest fan, "Muse" (short for Musica = Spanish for "music"), inspires them to sing again despite government aggression. She develops powers to shield them from harm, allowing them to sing, strengthening her powers and giving them hope.
