During my latest trip to the Ogwen Valley I and headed for the eastern edge and the Afon Lloer. This river cascades down from Pen Y Ole Wen towards the Ogwen Reservoir and Tryfan. The clouds racing across the sky, painting shadow and light as they went. The crystal clear water pours down the mountain, momentarily swirling in blue pools, before tipping over the rocks and continuing their way down.
On my first trip to the Ogwen Valley, I headed to Llyn Idwal at the foot of the Glyderau mountain range. This impressive statue of boulders and the snow capped Glyder Fawr were my subjects.  I waited as the sunlight shadows of the nearby Y Garn climbed the mighty slopes, until only the tip of GlYder Fawr was catching that light.
