Cybersecurity awareness campaign

As digital technology is developing at great speed, the city of Brussels, through its BXL2021 strategic programme and digitalisation plan, is taking the protection and strengthening of the security chain very seriously. This is at the heart of i-CITY's mission. 

Cybercriminals also know this and adapt their criminal behaviour accordingly. As detecting a flaw in a computer network requires more and more advanced technical skills, cybercrime techniques are now increasingly aimed at end users and their possible inattention or weakness. This why the city of Brussels decided to create this awareness campaign : if i-CITY is the main target of cybercriminals, it is also the first bulwark to protect against cyberattacks

For this, we developed a creative concept together with an illustration style to fit with the desired tone. We wanted to create an easy yet eye-catching and friendly imaginary to raise awareness of the threats we are exposed to on an everyday basis, yet without generating any threatening or guilty feeling towards the users.
