BACKGROUND
2020, for Suning.com, is the beginning of everything possible. Suning celebrated its 30th birthday. At the 30th anniversary press conference, Suning proposed to upgrade from a "retailer" to a "retail service provider", clarified the strategic significance of "service" to Suning, and put forward the brand proposition of "focus on good service" . The newly upgraded brand proposition reflects Suning.com's return to its original business aspirations, its persistence in quality and service, and clarifies the brand value direction of Suning.com to fully empower ecological partners and meet the needs of users.


A NEW AND MORE INCLUSIVE 11.11 BRAND
The new logo design of Suning Double Eleven 2020 marks the beginning of a new era. In addition to the new logo and colors, the newly designed visual identity helps:
-Recognize the group's brand DNA
-Strengthen the unification of the brand identity of user contacts at different ends
-Create a new super symbol with a strong impact, especially at the group's annual promotion party.
CONCEPT
The octagonal shape is a powerful symbolic element in the visual logo of suning. The new 2020 Suning 11.11 logo retains the brand symbol "lion head", and at the same time removes the three corners of the lower half of the octagonal shape, replacing it with a pleasant and smooth Curved design, its shape is reminiscent of happy smiling faces. A more contoured and concise symbol interprets the brand's spiritual animal "lion" and embodies vitality and confidence.
By analyzing the 11.11 logos of competing e-commerce companies, it is found that their logos are all processed with Arabic numerals. By cleverly designing the 11.11 logo, I created a minimalist graphic that resonates visually. Inspired by the sacred and ceremonial sense of the pipe organ church, the drop shape at the bottom of the graphic adds a sense of space. Behind its simple surface, this logo conveys a form of "Hope".
