The Spanish company Cristal&SPA offers aroma candles, diffusers and perfumed indoor sprays, bath bombs and bath salts, natural oils, as well as body cosmetics and perfumes.
Única brand is a new brand that includes natural aroma candles from 100% soy wax with essential oils and a strong cotton wick. At the launch stage, candles have the following 5 original fragrances: peony and raspberry, mint and bamboo, ginger and lemon, avocado and bergamot.

CHALLENGE
The client requested a simple logo and clean minimal packaging design for the Única brand. The color palette had to match the 5 fragrances in the collection.

SOLUTION
I created a minimalistic logo from the thin streamlined lines that made up the brand name Única (translated from Spanish Unique). The accent fell on the letter "Ú", which I depicted as a candle wick, thus creating an image of a candle from the first letter of the brand. The logo gave a soft, cozy, relax style to the brand. The packaging design was also soft, clean and minimal with accents on fragrances. I suggested a spa-appropriate color palette and handwritten font for writing names of 5 scents on candle labels, visually highlighting their organic nature. The boxes were of similar solid colors, providing a variety of collection.

RESULT
The chosen style and color palette reinforced the organic advantages of the candle collection and further enhanced the emotional and aesthetic perception of the brand, making it stand out from the same type of brands. According to the client, the new Única collection, that was displayed in a conspicuous place at the entrance to the shops, attracted the attention of customers with an unconventional approach to such standard products, making the Única brand at the launch stage an emotional purchase #1 as an experiment for customers "to try something new." The client is confident in the high quality, supported by the design, in which many customers have already convinced themselves, make repeated purchases and recommend the brand to their friends.
