“The collision between wood and metal is quiet, rough, elegant, calm, romantic, and chic, just like everything in life.” The owner of this home is a city woman with a successful career, and a bachelor mother who excels in all aspects. Her distinctive personal charm and unique daily life routine inspire the concept of this project. We created a space for a city woman who is strong and elegant. According to owner’s habit, we separate the work and rest routine. So that we set the main work area in the dining area, and the wine tasting area with a wine cabinet where the homeowners can chat and taste wine in an area between the kitchen and bedroom. We also added three wooden materials to complement three metal materials. The collision between metal and wood compare to coldness and warmth, exemplifies the strength and gentleness of women.
「金屬與木質的碰撞，沉靜、粗曠而優雅，一如生活中的一切，從容、浪漫又瀟灑。」屋主是一名事業有成的都會女性、更是一名在各方面都非常優秀的單身母親，鮮明的個人色彩與獨特的生活日常作息，讓此設計案的構想油然而生：我們想打造一間「剛柔並濟」的都會女性住宅。在動線上我們依照屋主的作息去規劃，將白天主要的工作區域設置在用餐的區域，而夜晚與閨密們品酒聊天的地方則將廚房與房間打通後設置出一座大中島及酒櫃。在風格上，運用三種木質調：沉穩的胡桃木牆、冷酷的黑梣木櫃及溫潤的灰橡木地板來搭配三種金屬元素：深銅金屬大樑、古銅金屬書架及白金電視主牆，金屬與木質的碰撞、冷冽與溫潤的交融，彼此交織出的質感述說著女性的剛毅與溫柔。
