This is an interactive poster and petition booth for the sssociations of mothers for gun control. Their campaign was entitled 'Moms Demand Action'. There is a live twitter feed projection of the hashtag #MomsDemand, as if you could see their hopes and desires against gun violence as they tweet them. The algorithm dissects each tweet into a keyword and projects it. We can see the words “KeepNYSafe”, “violence”, “stopthis”, “signthepetition”, etc… The actual petition is printed and mounted to the installation, so that the information booth becomes a platform to take action and sign it. On the ear phones you can hear testimonies of families and mothers victims of gun violence.
