From theses great places that you visit regularly, you jumped to the foundry website. Does the foundry website looks professional? Is it easy to search the fonts? Online samples, pdfs specimens, online testinghelp to confirm if a typeface can be appropriate for your new project. But you want to be sure that the quality is there. It’s only when you have the fonts installed on your laptop that you can really confirm if the expected quality is there.
Try-out fonts are different from free fonts
This is a summary of the reasons why we re-introduced what we call Try-out fonts. Its different from what you think a free fonts are: it’s OpenType fonts with quite limited possibilities but enough to let you check the quality of the design and its style.

Try-out font license
The only difference with our usual end user license, is that the Typofonderie try-out fonts are proposed for evaluation and internal testings use only. Any commercial and production use is not allowed. You have to purchase a license of the complete version at Typofonderie.com, even if you need to use one glyph in your own design design projects.
