Likha Cosmetics: Velvet Matte

Likha Cosmetics is a local cosmetics brand that aims to capture the beauty, strength and uniqueness of the modern day Filipina. They celebrate the difference of each individual and believe that makeup is a tool for creative expression.

The challenge was to create a fresh new take for their new collection. The packaging features fun fruity illustrations and vibrant shades with an abstract and minimal design. The collection takes inspiration from summertime in the Philippines—from seasonal fruits to luscious desserts.

We wanted to create the design in a not so monotone way. So we decided to create quirky colour combinations that represented the shades in a different way. Each design corresponds to its specific lip shade, and the result—mouth watering colours unique to each shade.
