Moonlit Dance
I explored the theme of motion. I also incorporate duality like the rest of my work. The stillness of the statues, but the rhythm and movement of the fabric and white ink swirls, tricks the eye into thinking the dancing statues had been moving. I was also inspired by Auguste Rodin's figure drawings and watercolor of dancers.
