SYLVESTER "THE CALF ANTELOPE"

Personal

Do you like baby animals?
They are so cute; they always inspire me to paint them—those creatures with big dreamy eyes.
This time I choose to paint a baby calf. Did you know that calves symbolize moving on an idea or opportunity?
Antelope’s energy vibrations sharpen your communication skills, ensuring you’re at your best during negotiations. Antelope heightens your awareness of subtle shifts in surrounding energies. The creature also shows you how to be more attentive and watchful, allowing you to master reading people’s body language and intentions.

I learned that there is a theory known as the “baby schema” effect. This theory says that we humans release chemicals like dopamine and oxytocin, which trigger our brains when we look at babies’ animals. The same chemicals are released when we look at babies, and similar chemicals are released when we fall in love.
This chemical release is triggered by visual cues in baby mammals, including a large head relative to body size, big eyes, rounded body shape, and soft body surfaces. Since human babies are helpless for many months, our biological response makes us want to care for and protect them, so it’s an evolutionary advantage for our species.
But it also means we feel happy when we see baby animals, whether in real life or a painting. We all love those wiggly bundles of cuteness.
