It's good to hop in front of the camera from time to time because you then know what it feels like to be the subject. It's helped me to better direct people in front of the camera and nurture a positive creative spirit during a shoot. Last year I was unable to photograph many people and used it as an opportunity to refine my lighting and editing skills
