E-SAAC: A Serious Game for Eurocopter

A project that consisted in creating a community-based serious game for Eurocopter to teach pilots and technicians how to acquire and maintain fundamental knowledge about their helicopter. The game uses both a tablet and a computer. The tablet acts as a kind of controller that controls what is visible on the computer screen. The computer screen shows the 3d environment in which the player can move around. I was in charge of the 3d modeling, texturing and animation for the game.
This is what you see on your computer screen when the game starts.
This is the virtual base in which the game takes place.
Here is the base with a cel shaded render.
This is one of the missions we created for the game.
Here is cel shaded version that we used in the game. In this mission three players collaborate to prepare the helicopter for take off.
Here is another mission where one has to find what is wrong with the helicopter.
This is an image from the game showing the hangar.
This is the multiplayer area where players can chose to start or join a mission.
A documentary on this project with a few interviews and some images showing the process of creating the serious game. I did the 3d animation for the introduction.
