Pride Stride Logo
Spearheaded by LA Pride, LGBTQ+ Pride organizations from across America came together to create the first-ever national “Pride Stride” Virtual Run. Each of the participating Pride organizations helped promote Pride Stride in their own respective regions, kicking off an uplifting, fun and masked 5k/10k event for LGBTQ+ communities and their supporters
The Challenge
The challenge for this logo was to create an evergreen design that could easily be utilized by 30+ cities across the country. This was the first year of what is to be an annual Pride Stride event and I was asked to create a primary logo that could stand alone, as well as be able to seamlessly include a date and location. I was also asked to include the rainbow colors, and I wanted to find a way to do that in a non-traditional way in order to make this logo distinctive. It was a pleasure making this clean, versatile and fun mark!
