TOKIO Sushi Restaurant and Bar

Interior Design
Tokio Budapest Bar and Sushi Restaurant
The best sushi in Budapest in an extraordinary interior by Studio Arkitekter.
What pops into your mind when you think about Tokyo and Japan? Ancient traditions and flickering neon lights. A monk rings a bell and a busy business man running with a suitcase in his hand. Working on these concepts and focusing on specific contrasts, the design process evolved into three different topics, representing the Tokyo’s scenarios variety and Japanese tradition, too.
The business: elegant, sophisticated with delicate materials such as copper, walnut, leather, used as architectural elements.
The alley: shaded, secrets and narrow places caracterized also by graffiti, neons and metal surfaces.
The fashion: like in a fashion street, bent neon lights, geometrical wall decorations and a robotic panel as a pillar, take place in the restaurant.
