Adobe Live: Uplifting Hand Lettered Quote
I created this lettering piece as a part of my two-day Adobe Live Stream project. It was inspired by my recent choice to go freelance back in January. I wanted something high-quality and print ready for my home decor.
On Day 1, I started in Adobe Fresco creating the refined sketch, and then on Day 2, I vectored using the pen tool and added details in Adobe Illustrator. Check out the replay links to watch Day 1 and Day 2.
I started out by drawing 5 thumbnail sketches. The audience in the chat helped me to choose which direction to go with. We all decided that option 4 was the strongest.
At the end of Day 1, I finished with my refined sketch to take into Adobe Illustrator. The audience in the chat helped me brainstorm supporting illustrations that aligned with the theme to include to help fill out the composition.
Starting off where we left off on Day 1, I began vectorizing my sketch in Adobe Illustrator using the pen tool.
After the sketch was done being vector traced, I added color, effects, and illustrations to the final piece.
