I make this Jester for six month.
It was from a child's toy - a wooden pyramid. When I saw it in the store, the idea came to mind almost immediately, but concrete forms formed very slowly. I tried to blur the lines between "black and white", to show that it is very easy to change the positions of the scales. A cheerful face can express not only kindness and fun, but also gloating, and an ugly and sullen face can express pain and sadness.

Folded hands symbolize indifference and inaction in one situation, control and calm in another, anxiety and worry in a third... Palms outstretched and folded like a boat, can both give and ask, or perhaps just hold and keep.
