For this project we had to come up with a base concept and from there create a block print pattern. This is a four layered block print that connotes nostalgia. It hits nostalgia on multiple levels. For starters the colors used are strictly CMYK, they are the base colors for printing and can make any color. CMYK has been the basis for printing for a very very long time. The imagery used also hits on nostalgia. The old television and old television screen test. Mixed with a pop culture media image that used to be one of the greatest channels for experience new music and culture. Ever since then MTV has become about reality and lost its roots.
