Logo and CD Album Design for the music band The Closet
This logo was created for a music band The Closet. The brief was to create a logo based on the first album art which depicted a back side of a mermaid.
The album was called The Unnoted Borders. The theme of the album was “Sense of Place”, therefore my design was based on mapping. The main artwork was created with a marbling technique. The CD cover consists of two layers. First layer represents the map with songs marked as localities; the second one is a simple design with a logo in a centre. The band’s name and CD title are printed only on the underneath layer. The upper layer has four rectangular holes to make titles visible from the bottom layer.
