P H A S E S

Although I like to use generative methods in my work, I am always interested in emphasising the separate, individual achievements.
In this series, I focused on precisely that. The artworks were created by heavily glitching a collection of procedurally generated gradients and later curving them onto a emotionless, gender-neutral face. Visually, the pieces in the series are reminiscent of a strange combination of humanoid robots and tribal face-paintings in a mixed style of digital illustration and futurism. The name comes from the aforementioned variability of states of mind and aesthetics on the one hand, and of course from the consonance of the word "faces".

All artworks are available as NFTs on Foundation.
