History of skateboarding

The origin of the skateboard is probably as controversial as the origin of life itself. It was probably Californian surfers who screwed roller skates under wooden boards to experience the feeling of gliding even without waves. Today, skating is not just a hobby, but a new way of looking at our urban world. Skating has become a lifestyle and an Olympic discipline. And this is what the Rollbrett newspaper is all about.

When you open the paper, you embark on a journey through the different eras of skateboarding, but the focus is on movement. The result is a rhythm of reduced, minimalist information design and layout and expressive, abstract poster design. The "rollbrett" newspaper takes an experimental approach to skateboarding, true to the motto: there are no rules.
