Custom Painted Rosko/Rouler Cyclocross Frame

A custom hand-painted cyclocross frame, hand-built by Rosko Cycles. The layout was designed by the guys at Rouler, I had to execute decal style graphics with only a brush. The tough powder coating on the frame added a nice contrast to the glossy paint, but made for a difficult bond and required hours of precise hand sanding prior to painting.

Powdercoating caused for an labor-intense lesson in hand-sanding precise areas to help the enamel stick to the frame. All painted areas were sanded and then hand painted without any vinyl masking.
