Form Abstraction In Thermacol
The Thermacol forms has been abstracted from the attributes of raga HAMSADHWANI, a very popular raga from the Carnatic classical music of southern India.
The raga sounds so pure ,so sublime ,just as a gentle flow of the waterfall from which the forms heavily draws an attention from. The top cavity in the forms is symbolizes the mouth of the waterfall and the rest of the form has been abstracted from the gentle flow of water.
The raga has 5 pure notes namely , Sa Re Ga Pa Ni ( A-B-C-E-G). The 5 undulations of the more detailed derivatives of the form represent the 5 swaras (notes) which build the music of the raga.
