----- the project -----
for this project I had to design a book cover - front, back and spine - for either 'de avond is ongemak', 'what if?' or 'foking druk'.
----- the process -----
to start with this project I decided to do some research to all three books to make sure I knew which one I wanted to design a book cover for.
when I had done some research on 'de avond is ongemak' I already had an idea of what I could do with this cover, so I immediately made a sketch of it. but at some point I got really stuck with this design or any other ideas for this book, so I decided to go back to research the other two books.
in the end I decided to go for 'what if?' since I had a few ideas I could work out a little better. so I made some sketches for this book and I was happy with what I had so far.
I chose the sketch of the question mark with all the little scribbles in it because I felt like this would depict all the different type of questions that are being asked in the book.
so after I knew what I wanted to make I worked it out and this is my process of that.
I am happy with how it turned out, although I sadly worked on a little too small of a canvas, so the final images are a bit blurry.
