A group of 30 Industrial Design Students at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia in Palmira created a collective to explore how photography could be implemented as a design tool for future projects. They held weekly study workshops and presentations to learn about cameras, techniques, etc. The collective, which later came to be known as "Conspiraion Fotográfica", inaugurated the railway station art showroom with their month-long exposition, "Palmira Retrospectiva", displaying antique photographs of Palmira alongside new shots taken and published by the students. The inauguration gave them a chance not only to show their photography skills but design the space as well. The co-founders of the collective are: Omar Calero, Eduardo Acosta, Alejandra Tiuso, and H. Sneyder Neira L.
