The aim of this project was to develop a furniture set for the Casas Bahia contest. Based on the current furniture available on the market I researched details that could be used to grab the consumer's attention and reduce even more the production cost.
O objetivo foi desenvolver uma linha de mobiliário para o concurso da Casas Bahia. Baseado no modelo atual dos móveis procurei adicionar detalhes que chamam a atenção do consumidor e reduzir ainda mais os custos de produção.
The inspiration for the color and lines was Piet Mondrian, with an easy way to produce it in the current Casas Bahia machines. The innovation proposed was to get rid of the handles, put color in the interior and changing the finish board with a black stripe, not matching the outside color.
Inspiração para as cores nas pinturas de Piet Mondrian, com uma execução fácil pelo maquinário já existente na Casas Bahia e inovação em relação aos concorrentes, colocando cores nas partes internas e alterando radicalmente a cor da fita de bordo em relação à cor do MDP BP.
