La Vida Después, "Life After", is a short documentary we made about Raúl, a 13 years old boy who suffered an accident three years ago. After one month in coma, he finally left the hospital with a Cerebral Paralysis diagnose. Ever since, he has fought towards leading a "normal", independent life with the help of his parents. Our short documentary focuses on the improvement Raúl has achieved until now.
Wanting to approach mainly his improvement and not the accident, we decided to show briefly how the accident happened with a metaphor of a flying bird, that then falls, using a voice-over narration by his parents. My main job in the post-production of the film was to design, animate and put together this animation with the narrative.
