well-being of children everywhere

Data from surveys on violence against children in different countries typically measure prevalence of individual types of violence, such as physical, sexual, or emotional violence. Alternatively, estimates may focus on 1 location or class of perpetrator; examples include bullying victimization, which is often only measured when it occurs on school grounds, or child maltreatment, which is limited to that perpetrated by parents or caregivers. Rarely do prevalence studies measure ranges of types, locations, and perpetrators.
